Getting on the Inc. 5000 list is data-driven. Companies are ranked according to percentage revenue growth over a three-year period, with strict qualification criteria.


The Requirements for the 2025 List:


  • Must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2021

  • Must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent

  • Minimum revenue of $100,000 in 2021 and $2 million in 2024


The ranking is based on percentage revenue growth over a three-year period. The median revenue growth rate for 2025 honorees was 169%, achieved during tremendous economic challenges.
